How this started.
We started WEBUILDING because too many good businesses were being sold websites they could not change, could not measure, and did not understand.
So we kept the studio deliberately small. There is no account manager relaying messages between you and whoever is actually writing the code, because there is no one to relay to — you talk to the people doing the work.
Sixty-odd projects later the approach has not changed. We quote a fixed price before we start, we answer tickets in about four hours, and we hand over something you can run yourself.
The part that matters after launch.
A fixed price agreed before any work starts, no surprise invoices, and a support queue that a real person answers. If something breaks after launch, it is still our problem.
Every project ships with a ticket system, a reference number for anything you report, and the same two people on the other end of it. Nothing about the handover is designed to keep you dependent on us.
